IT & Systems Development (Director)

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of IT & Systems Development (Director) who will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the IT and Systems Development teams and projects. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects and tasks are executed successfully, on time, and within scope. The Director position is primarily an in-office position. Responsibilities Oversee IT operations, including networks, systems, projects and security and supervise systems Oversee IT staff and provide direction, guidance and training, specifically to project leads Recruit and mentor IT staff, conducting performance evaluations on an annual basis Develop strategy as it relates to the organization’s IT infrastructure and company goals (computer and information systems, security, communication systems), creating processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of systems In coordination with the EVP, manage the development, implementation, maintenance and security of all IT systems and software Identify security risks and implement solutions to protect company data Assist development team in identifying and diagnosing client night batch processing issues Consult senior-level stakeholders across the organization to identify business and technology needs and to optimize the use of information technology Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring systems performance Work with internal and external stakeholders and clients to ensure projects are completed efficiently, accurately and on time, mitigating any issues that may arise with assistance of other departments Oversee third-party IT vendors and consultants In coordination with the EVP, develop, monitor and work to achieve annual goals for the department that support the overall strategic plan of the company In coordination with the EVP, develop, manage, and track the IT department’s annual budget Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience with managing multiple AWS tenant environments Proficient in C# with at least 10 years of C# development experience Proficient in MS SQL with at least 10 years of SQL development experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent documentation skills Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and conflict resolution skills Must possess empathy, patience, and positive attitude when assisting internal staff and external customers Attention to detail and organization to prioritize work and complete multiple tasks efficiently and accurately Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability as well as exercise sound judgement in making decisions Understanding of software development life cycle, test methodologies, and familiarity with testing tools and frameworks Knowledge and use of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to verbally communicate complex information in a clear, organized, and concise manner Ability to manage group dynamics, answer questions, and facilitate discussions with internal and external stakeholders Frequently works under deadlines and in direct contact with others Must be flexible and adapt to changes in assignments and work schedules Required Experience Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field 10 years of experience working in IT with at least 5 years of experience in IT operations, supervising technology teams, and overseeing large information technology projects Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases, cloud services, and data storage systems, and telecommunications
