Senior Java Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer III to design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise-grade Java applications. This position is best suited for a hands-on software engineer with a strong foundation in Java who can contribute throughout the complete software development lifecycle-from requirements and technical design through development, testing, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement., The successful candidate will work closely with architects, product owners, business analysts, developers, and other technology teams to build reliable, scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions. Top Skill Requirement Must Have 5+ years of professional Java development experience Strong hands-on experience designing, developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining enterprise Java applications Experience with modern Java versions such as Java 8, 11, or 17 Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, application design, and software engineering principles Highly Valuable / Preferred Spring Boot Spring Framework Microservices development AWS application integration and cloud services RESTful APIs Terraform Jenkins and CI/CD automation Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable enterprise Java applications. Participate throughout the complete SDLC, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, production support, and enhancement. Develop RESTful APIs and service-based applications. Build and maintain Spring Boot applications and microservices. Integrate applications with internal systems, external APIs, messaging platforms, databases, and cloud services. Design and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform. Build and support Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines. Perform code reviews and promote software engineering standards and maintainable development practices. Diagnose application defects, production incidents, performance issues, and integration failures. Perform application performance tuning and optimization. Develop automated unit and integration tests. Apply appropriate application security, authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices. Collaborate with architecture, infrastructure, DevOps, security, product, and business teams. Maintain appropriate technical documentation, design artifacts, deployment procedures, and operational documentation. Participate in production deployments and application support activities. Identify opportunities to improve application architecture, development processes, reliability, automation, and delivery efficiency. The primary requirement for this position is 5+ years of professional Java development experience. Experience with Spring Boot, microservices, AWS, Terraform, Jenkins, and modern cloud-native development practices will significantly strengthen candidate fit., Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. 5+ years of professional Java software development experience. Strong understanding of Java and object-oriented software design. Experience developing enterprise applications. Knowledge of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms. Experience working with relational databases and SQL. Experience with source-control practices using Git. Experience developing and testing production-quality software.
