Job description

We are looking for a skilled Core Java Developer to join the Consumer & Community Banking Debit team. This team develops and supports critical applications that handle a high volume of debit card transactions. You will work closely with distributed teams across the U.S. and India to build secure, scalable, and high-performing applications in an agile environment., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications using Spring Boot.

Build and enhance microservices for high-volume transaction processing.
Develop event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka.
Write secure, high-quality production code and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Work with SQL/Oracle databases for application development and optimization.
Participate in CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
Monitor application health using observability tools such as Splunk and Grafana.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance, resiliency, and reliability.
Contribute to architecture, design discussions, and software engineering best practices.

Requirements

3+ years of Java development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
Experience with Apache Kafka.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
Strong SQL/database skills.
Experience with observability/monitoring tools such as Splunk and Grafana.

Nice to Have

AWS or cloud platform experience.
Experience with Microservices, Oracle DB, Containers, Dynatrace, or Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
