Job description

Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack software applications.
Lead medium- to large-scale features from design through production.
Contribute to service and system architecture decisions.
Develop production-ready code and participate in code and design reviews.
Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and engineering teams.
Improve application observability, performance, reliability, and resiliency.
Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers.

Requirements

At least five years of software engineering experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring.
Experience with object-relational mapping frameworks.
Experience building full-stack applications using React or a comparable frontend framework.
Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Experience developing and consuming RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and cloud services., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong understanding of client-server communication, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
Knowledge of cloud-native development, stateless services, horizontal scaling, and observability.
Strong SQL and database development experience.
Ability to evaluate downstream impacts across interconnected systems.
Ability to solve complex technical problems with limited guidance.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Spring Boot and related Spring projects.
Experience with AWS or another cloud platform.
Experience with Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Experience with Kafka, Amazon Kinesis, or Amazon SNS/SQS.
Experience in advertising technology or media-processing workflows.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or Amazon Q Developer.
