Develop and maintain Python services and tooling
Own CI/CD in Azure DevOps, including YAML pipelines, environments, approvals, and releases
Improve build, test, and deploy practice, not just deliver features
Work directly with non-technical colleagues and help unblock delivery

Slack, We are offering a contract Python Developer role focused on building software and owning how it gets into production. This is a hybrid UK position with an inside IR35 engagement and a day rate depending on experience. We work closely with delivery, product, and stakeholders, and we value clear communication, practical problem-solving, and the ability to keep work moving in a fast-paced environment. Immediate or short-notice start is preferred, though the start date is flexible.

Requirements

Strong commercial Python experience
Hands-on Azure DevOps experience, including pipelines, repo strategy, artefacts, and release process
Solid CI/CD judgement and ownership of deployment practices
Clear communication skills and comfort working directly with stakeholders
Willingness to work inside IR35 via an approved umbrella or PAYE route
Useful extras: wider Azure experience, FastAPI, Flask, Django, Terraform, or Bicep
