Quality Engineer - Java Automation CI/CD

• Design and implement test solutions and automation frameworks, often from the ground up
• Drive a shift-left Quality Engineering approach across the Scrum team
• Build automated testing into the CI/CD lifecycle and shorten feedback loops
• Apply TDD/BDD, risk-based testing and modern test design techniques
• Work across Unit, System, Functional, Integration and NFR testing
• Analyse complex business requirements, processes and technical architectures to shape the testing approach
• Work with test data and databases, ensuring appropriate test coverage and data management
• Help ensure applications are designed to be testable through automation
• Pair with developers and contribute across the wider product stack
• Coach and upskill engineers, embedding quality as a whole-team responsibility
• Support manual testing where automation isn’t appropriate
• Produce and maintain high-quality testing collateral
• Work closely with technical and business stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle
