ResponsibilitiesAct as a data-domain subject matter expert and influence business decision-making Build, develop and deploy data science solutions in compliance with internal best practices and procedures Help establish best practices, understanding and compliance within the data science team Communicate with business stakeholders and clearly explain solutions Deliver data science solutions and establish next steps with stakeholders Ensure compliance with relevant procedures and processes and maintain evidence and audit trails Source and determine data availability, including internal, external and novel data sources Gather requirements from business units and propose and experiment with data science methodologies Wrangle, manipulate and clean data from multiple sourcesRequirementsNatural curiosity for data and passion to research and resolve real-life problems with data and modern technologies Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively Sound knowledge and experience

developing and deploying statistical and machine learning models, supervised and unsupervised Python expertise SQL Big Data, including Spark BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI Modern software development experience and toolkit, including Git, code reviews, Feature Stores and CI/CD Design of experiments, such as A/B/N, multivariate, sample size calculation and factorial designs (desirable) Database, data warehouse or data lake experience, including SQL packages, processes, queries and data-model performance tuning (desirable) Cloud architecture experience, such as AWS or Microsoft Azure (desirable)Core CompetenciesDemonstrates expertise in developing and deploying data science solutions, with a strong focus on statistical and machine learning models.
