Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) - Level 02 - FULLY C

• Support continuous monitoring of networks to detect and correct areas of security non-compliance, unmitigated vulnerabilities, and other risks.
• Follow consistent security processes and play a role in the information systems continuous monitoring program.
• Perform regular audits of information systems.
• Assist the information systems security manager in preparing for periodic reaccreditation.

$85,000 - $140,000 a year The pay range for this job, with multi-levels, is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph (Polygraph must be within the last five (05) years).
• Five (05) years of direct/relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security, System Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. High school diploma/GED plus nine (09) years of relevant experience may be considered.
• Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Tier 1 certification.
• Experience on Defense-in-Depth principles, network, and enterprise security architecture.
• Experience applying the principles of the NIST 800-53 including the procedures in the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Ensure the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for information systems.
