Global Practice Leader - Data Architecture & Engineering

Genpact is seeking a Global Practice Leader - Data Architecture & Engineering to lead our Data Engineering and Data Architecture practice globally. This executive will shape the firm’s technology vision, drive client transformation, build differentiated offerings, and lead the delivery of complex enterprise data modernization programs across industries.

The role combines executive consulting, data architecture, technology innovation, practice development, sales support, and large-scale delivery leadership. Working closely with clients’ C-suite executives, hyperscaler partners, and internal service line teams, this leader will define data strategies that accelerate AI adoption, cloud transformation, and business value realization., Practice Leadership

• Define and execute the global Data Architecture & Engineering strategy aligned with Genpact’s Data, AI, and Digital vision.
• Build differentiated offerings across Data Engineering, Lakehouse, Data Products, AI-ready data foundations, and enterprise modernization.
• Establish reusable assets, accelerators, methodologies, and reference architectures.
• Drive practice growth, capability expansion, and strategic investments.

Client Advisory

• Serve as Executive Data Advisor to CIOs, CDOs, CTOs, and business leaders.
• Lead executive workshops on enterprise data strategy, modernization, AI readiness, and cloud transformation.
• Shape multi-year transformation roadmaps aligned with business outcomes.
• Influence executive stakeholders and position Genpact as a strategic transformation partner.

Data Architecture

• Lead data architecture for large, complex transformation opportunities.
• Design enterprise-scale architecture spanning cloud platforms, data engineering, AI, governance, and analytics.
• Ensure architectural consistency across global client engagements.
• Establish best practices for scalable, secure, and AI-ready data ecosystems.

Growth

• Partner with Sales and Client Partners to originate and close strategic opportunities.
• Partner with solutioning for large pursuits, RFPs, and executive presentations.
• Develop differentiated value propositions and commercial models.
• Support account expansion through technology consulting and innovation.
• Partner with alliance teams - Snowflake, Databricks to scale practice . Collaborate with hyperscaler alliance team to co-innovate solutions

Delivery Leadership

• Provide executive oversight for large transformation programs.
• Guide architecture teams across multiple global delivery centers.
• Ensure delivery excellence, quality, governance, and client satisfaction.
• Resolve complex technical and organizational challenges.

Innovation

• Define Genpact’s point of view on Data architecture and Engineering.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and establish strategic partnerships.
• Build reusable accelerators leveraging GenAI, automation, and modern engineering practices, defined path and vision towards to autonomous data engineering

Talent Development

• Build and mentor a global data architecture and engineering community.
• Develop capability roadmaps, certifications, and technical career paths.
• Attract senior architects and engineering leaders.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

• 15 years in enterprise data consulting and architecture.
• 10+ years leading large Data Engineering or Data Architecture practices.
• Proven success advising Fortune 500 executives.
• Experience leading multi-million-dollar transformation programs.
• Track record of growing consulting practices and winning strategic deals.
• Experience in scaling and managing global practice organizations.
