Java Developer | AWS Microservices I SC Cleared

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join a high-profile cloud transformation programme, working within a Scrum team responsible for developing and supporting services across a large-scale AWS-hosted microservices architecture. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, enterprise-level systems, contributing across the full software development lifecycle while collaborating with highly skilled engineers in a modern cloud environment., * Design, develop and maintain Java-based microservices

• Write clean, scalable and well-tested code
• Perform unit testing and support integration testing activities
• Conduct and approve peer code reviews (PR reviews)
• Manage code promotion through multiple environments into production
• Support CI/CD best practices and release processes
• Mentor and develop junior team members
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects and Scrum team members

Security Clearance: Existing SC or CTC preferred. SC eligibility required., * Strong commercial experience with Java 8+

• Experience building cloud-based Microservices
• Strong knowledge of:
• Spring Boot
• Maven
• Guice
• JUnit
• PostgreSQL
• Experience using Git-based source control tools such as Bitbucket/Git
• Agile/Scrum delivery experience
