Principal Consultant - SAP QM

• Anchor the engagement effort from business process consulting and problem definition through solution design, development, and deployment
• Lead problem definition and discovery of the overall solution, and guide teams on project processes and deliverables
• Act as a thought leader in architecture and design reviews
• Anchor business pursuit initiatives, client training, and in-house capability building
• Shape value-adding consulting solutions that help clients meet changing global business needs
• Lead end-to-end design, configuration, and rollout of SAP S/4HANA QM processes, including inspection planning, results recording, usage decision, and notifications
• Configure and optimize QM transactions such as QA11, QA12, QA32, and QA33, including selection screens, ALV layouts, and table controls
• Govern global QM template objects, including quality score procedures, usage decision, follow-up actions, inventory postings, and code groups, while ensuring naming standards and rollout guidelines are followed
• Design and manage batch-related quality processes, including Quality Batch Status, expired batches, and alignment with stock types through enhancements and background jobs
• Define WRICEF requirements and provide functional specifications for QM developments such as batch automation, job notifications, and inspection lot controls
• Drive data quality initiatives by identifying inconsistencies, defining validation logic, and enabling controlled correction and deletion mechanisms
• Define and validate QM reporting requirements, including chain-of-custody tracking and event-based reporting with timestamps, user, and movement data
• Define Fiori app requirements and ensure usability, performance, and adoption through optimized selection criteria
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure role-based access and resolve authorization issues
• Ensure compliance with global template standards and seamless integration with MM, PP, and SD

• SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP QM, with S/4HANA preferred
• Deep functional knowledge of inspection processing, batch management, quality notifications, and QM reporting
• Proven experience in end-to-end QM implementations and global rollouts
• Strong experience in global template governance and standardization
• Expertise in defining WRICEF objects and functional specifications
• Experience in Life sciences, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries preferred
• SAP S/4 EWM technical know-how and roadmap knowledge preferred
• Multilingual proficiency preferred; English is required
• Exposure to LIMS or external quality systems preferred
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps and UX design principles preferred
• Knowledge of audit, compliance, and data governance frameworks preferred
• Strong documentation skills, including BBP, Functional Design Documents, SOPs, and training material
