nFMEA/FMECA Reliability Engineer

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in the field of STEM (e.g., physics, engineering, math, etc.).\n
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of recent and related work experience.\n
• In lieu of degree: Candidates with a minimum 9 years of recent and related experience will be considered. \n

The \nFMEA/FMECA Reliability Engineer will support the space program located at the Marshall Space Flight Center in\n Huntsville, Alabama.\n \n \nRESPONSIBILITIES:\n \n \n

• Prepare, evaluate, and ensure the quality of reliability assessments for MSFC programs and projects.\n
• Support the development of FMEA/FMECA/CIL products and ground rules for the Human Landing System (HLS) program, ensuring alignment with program standards.\n
• Review project documentation to verify consistency, completeness, and compliance with reliability requirements. \n
• Develop, apply, and maintain analytical tools needed to identify and meet reliability and maintainability requirements for MSFC programs and projects.\n
• Prepare, evaluate, and provide assessments of in-house and supplier quality documentation, including implementation of instructions and procedures.\n
• Participate in failure and problem investigations, determine root cause, and recommend corrective actions.\n
• Provide expertise in reviewing and assessing documentation related to manufacturing, inspection, and test processes.\n
• Perform focused quantitative risk assessments to support risk-informed decisions regarding flight risk and mitigation options.\n
