Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Geospatial Science, Physics or related field.
Experience building and deploying machine learning or computer vision models.
Strong Python for research and production code.
PyTorch or TensorFlow experience.
Background in LiDAR, photogrammetry, remote sensing or geospatial data.
Point cloud processing (LAS/LAZ, PDAL, Open3D) and geospatial tools (GDAL, PostGIS, QGIS).
Git, CI/CD and strong software engineering fundamentals.
Comfortable working with large-scale, real-world spatial datasets.

Non-essential/Beneficial Skills

Experience with laser scanning hardware (terrestrial or aerial).
3D/vegetation-specific point cloud algorithms.
MLOps: model versioning, monitoring and retraining pipelines.
Background or interest in environmental science or sustainability.
Exposure to remote sensing for natural resource management.
