C++ Developer

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using modern C++.
• Analyze technical requirements and contribute to software architecture and design decisions.
• Develop and maintain applications running in Linux environments.
• Use Docker to support development, testing, and deployment activities.
• Manage project builds and dependencies using Conan or CMake.
• Investigate and resolve performance, stability, compatibility, and production issues while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in C++ development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux development and troubleshooting.
• Practical experience with Conan or CMake. Experience with at least one of these tools is required. Conan is not mandatory if the candidate has solid CMake experience.
• Experience with Docker and container-based development or deployment environments.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, modern C++, debugging, software testing, and version control tools such as Git.
• Availability to work 4 days per week on site in Laval. Experience in automotive, heavy industrial, embedded software, hardware integration, or real-time systems is an advantage.
• English is required because the person will work regularly with English-speaking teams and partners located outside Quebec. They will participate in meetings, explain operational issues, and coordinate activities in English. This language proficiency is therefore necessary to perform the main duties of the position.
