AI Engineer - Advanced Experience

The AI Engineer - Advanced Experience is responsible for designing and delivering complex AI solutions that address high-impact business problems. This role involves developing and owning AI systems end-to-end, ensuring they are reliable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards. The position contributes significantly by shaping AI architecture, guiding technical decisions, and mentoring team members to advance the organization’’s AI capabilities., * Design and manage end-to-end AI solutions including LLM applications and machine learning models.

• Build and operate AI systems such as agentic workflows and retrieval-augmented generation platforms.
• Analyze business challenges to select appropriate AI methods and architectures.
• Develop evaluation strategies to measure model performance and business impact.
• Lead the creation of data pipelines and feature strategies supporting AI systems.
• Ensure production readiness with focus on performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Identify and address risks like bias, hallucination, and data leakage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide solution design and delivery.
• Mentor team members and contribute to AI engineering standards and best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of experience in software engineering, data science, machine learning, or AI development.
• Advanced skills in software engineering with Python, APIs, testing, and system design.
• Proficiency with large-scale data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Amazon Redshift, or Microsoft Synapse.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning concepts, evaluation, and failure modes.
• Experience designing and deploying LLM-based systems using enterprise platforms.
• Familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel.
• Deep understanding of data quality, feature relevance, and model behavior.
• Experience in deploying, monitoring, and improving AI systems in production.
• Ability to balance technical tradeoffs involving accuracy, cost, risk, and scalability.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities to influence technical direction and mentor others.
