Job description

DecisionPoint is looking for a DevSecOps / Cloud Operations Technician to join our Cloud Operations team supporting the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Army Transportation Command IT Support Services contract. The team maintains AWS cloud environments, supports DevSecOps platforms, and deploys applications supporting mission-critical transportation and logistics systems. This position is 100% remote and requires an active Secret clearance Duties & Responsibilities:

Support and maintain AWS cloud environments, including provisioning and administration of services such as EC2, EKS, RDS, IAM, and Systems Manager.
Support DevSecOps deployment workflows utilizing ArgoCD and Kubernetes-based RKE2 clusters.
Develop and maintain GitLab projects supporting software delivery, secrets management, policy-as-code, compliance automation, and security scanning.
Perform software installation, configuration, upgrades, security patching, and maintenance activities for cloud-hosted applications and DevSecOps tools.
Maintain and support DevSecOps platform components including GitLab, Grafana, Prisma, RKE2, and AWS services.
Administer SSL certificates, application secrets, and security controls across cloud environments.
Monitor platform and application availability, performance, latency, and overall system health.
Perform incident response, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and service restoration activities for cloud platforms and applications.
Remediate vulnerabilities and security findings identified through application and container security scanning tools
Deploy updated container images and maintain compliance with organizational security requirements
Maintain AWS environments in compliance with security requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience, or 8+ years of equivalent professional experience
Active Secret Security Clearance
DCWF 8140 IAT Level II certification or higher (Security+ CE or equivalent).
Experience supporting AWS cloud environments and cloud-native services.
Experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipeline administration.
Familiarity with Kubernetes, container technologies, and modern application deployment practices.
Experience with scripting or automation using Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar tools.
Experience with ArgoCD and GitOps methodologies.
Experience administering AWS GovCloud environments.
Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity and compliance requirements.
