Job description
Strategic Test Planning: Implement testing strategies and plans throughout the AAA game development lifecycle. Define technical goals and priorities to ensure that all features meet AAA quality standards.
Automation and tooling: Use and maintain existing automated frameworks and performance tools to achieve broad test coverage across platforms and spot bottlenecks to optimize game state.
Technical Quality Performance: Lead daily testing using regression and manual game sessions to detect and resolve complex bugs. Oversee the defect lifecycle and collaborate with developers on high-priority resolutions.
Interdisciplinary communication: Liaise with production and engineering teams to align with technical requirements. Bridge the gap between your game studio and the Tech and QA teams to balance global standards and local requirements. Translate complex findings into actionable insights for stakeholders to maintain project momentum.
Mentoring and support: Accompany a small technical team on industry tools and QA best practices. Foster technical growth and quality of implementation through example and mentorship.

Requirements
More than 4 years of professional experience in software testing.
More than a year in a testing role focused on automated testing or scripting.
Over a year in a leadership role focused on test planning, QA best practices, and team mentoring.
Technical training with proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Java, Python, C#, Bash, Lua, PowerShell, etc.
Hands-on experience with test automation tools or frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or JUnit.
Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an eye for detail. Experience testing AAA games through multiple phases of the game development cycle.
Deep and varied experience with first-person shooter (FPS) or action role-playing game (Action RPG) titles.
Experience with commercial game engines, such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
Experience with CI/CD systems such as TeamCity, Jenkins or Horde.
Experience with test case management software such as QMetry or TestRail.
ISTQB certification or equivalent.
