Job description

You will contribute to the design, development, automation and operation of a cloud-native Data Platform, working across Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, DevOps and Data technologies., * Build and operate cloud-native data platform infrastructure.

Develop platform automation and engineering tooling using Python and Shell scripting.
Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Design and operate solutions within the AWS ecosystem, including networking, IAM, compute and storage.
Deploy, operate and troubleshoot containerised applications using Kubernetes and Amazon EKS.
Design, develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines.
Work with Git-based development workflows, including code reviews, testing and version control.
Administer and manage Snowflake environments, including security, RBAC, privileges, resource hierarchy and object lifecycle.
Provision and manage Snowflake resources through Terraform.
Automate environment provisioning, access management and platform governance.
Apply strong software engineering, DevOps and operational excellence practices.
Troubleshoot complex platform issues and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with a strong engineering mindset who is comfortable working hands-on across AWS, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, automation and Snowflake., * Strong hands-on experience with Python and Shell scripting.

Solid expertise in Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
Strong knowledge of AWS architecture and core cloud services.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS.
Strong experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines; Bitbucket is an asset.
Good knowledge of Snowflake administration and security, including RBAC and permission management.
Experience managing Snowflake infrastructure with Terraform.
Strong understanding of software engineering and DevOps best practices.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
