Senior Java Developer

Capyx is looking for a Java Developer to join an agile development team and contribute to the design, development, integration and testing of high-quality software solutions.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Work with microservices architecture
• Contribute to design, development, testing and integration activities
• Collaborate closely with developers and other team members in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Participate in continuous improvement of development practices and software quality
• Contribute to technical discussions and knowledge sharing within the team

Must-have skills

• 6+ years of relevant Java development experience
• Strong expertise in Java & Spring Boot
• Experience with Docker & Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of microservices
• Experience with cloud development
• Good understanding of software architecture, including operating systems, networking, databases and middleware
• Good knowledge of development methods, standards, security practices and development tools
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Experience integrating different technologies and infrastructure components
• Experience with IBM Cloud
• Experience with ElasticSearch
• Knowledge of KESMA
