Senior Java Developer

The role focuses on developing backend services that aggregate and expose citizen data securely, ensuring performance, scalability, and compliance., The developer will work in a cloud-native environment, applying best practices such as Domain Driven Design (DDD), microservices architecture, and CI/CD pipelines, while collaborating closely with architects and teams., * Develop and maintain Java-based backend services.

• Build scalable and performant microservices.
• Work with Spring Boot and modern frameworks.

• Apply Domain Driven Design (DDD) principles
• API & Data Handling

• Experience in Java development (minimum 5 years - Senior level)
• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security) (minimum 5 years)
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Experience with Hibernate / JPA / SQL (minimum 3 years)
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools
• Relevant education or certification in Java/J2EE
• Dutch language proficiency - CEFR C2 (Mandatory)
• NDA document submission required

Should Have

• Experience leading development teams and coaching developers
• Strong programming skills (coding, testing, debugging)
• Experience with AWS (minimum 1 year)
• Experience with Docker (minimum 3 years)
• Experience with JMeter
• Experience with JUnit / AssertJ (minimum 3 years)
• Experience with OAuth2 / OIDC (minimum 3 years)
• Experience with Postman / Newman
• Experience with SOAP APIs
• Experience with Agile methodologies (lead role preferred)
• Knowledge of mobile application development
