Design Engineer

We are looking for a Design Engineer with electrical, controls and process related experience to join our Plant Upgrade Solutions team. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting product designs by creating 3D models in Inventor, creating wiring diagrams, checking P&ID’s and performing relevant calculations. Additionally, you will contribute to technical documentation for subcontractors and prepare specifications for essential procurement components. As a Design Engineer, you will work closely with the Project Engineer and Engineering Manager. In this role, you’ll take the lead within the project team in the technical execution of projects, from design and analysis to production preparation and quality assurance, ensuring that all engineering deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with internal and external standards.

• Minimum HBO level in mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in an engineering or technical project environment.
• Experience with design and analysis software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, and Vault.

• Experienced in wiring diagrams, logic diagrams and process related documentation Skills:

• Proficiency in English;
• Strong communication skills and a flexible work attitude;
