Job description

You will be part of a programme team responsible for developing advanced systems and concepts around weapon effects management.

The role will involve taking complex operational needs and translating them into practical system concepts and architectures. You will work closely with engineering and design teams, helping shape how the overall system should operate while balancing requirements, technical constraints and wider programme objectives. Key Responsibilities

Develop system concepts and contribute to wider System of Systems activities
Gather, analyze and break down complex system requirements
Support the development of system architectures using Model-Based Engineering approaches
Work with engineering and design teams to define system concepts and key design principles
Assess different technical approaches and support trade-off decisions

Requirements

We are looking for a strong systems thinker who can understand complex requirements and turn them into clear concepts, architectures and technical solutions.

You should be comfortable working with different engineering disciplines and communicating technical information to both technical and senior stakeholders.

Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills are important, along with the ability to influence discussions and clearly present a technical narrative.

Experience within systems engineering, requirements engineering, system architecture or a related engineering environment would be highly relevant. The role also suits someone who enjoys working collaboratively and is keen to develop their experience within an advanced defense programme.
