Job description

As an Accounts Support Administrator, you will provide efficient and accurate administrative support to the Accounts Department, helping to ensure financial records, documentation, and data are maintained accurately and processed in a timely manner., We are committed to supporting your professional development and will provide full training on our systems, processes, and procedures.

As your knowledge and confidence develop, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in:

  • Purchase Ledger
  • Sales Ledger
  • Credit Control
  • Invoice Processing
  • Account Reconciliations
  • Financial Administration
  • Reporting and Data Analysis

Requirements

Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and looking to build a long-term career in Finance and Accountancy?

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to develop a career within an Accounts environment. Whether you already have some office administration experience or are looking to take your first step into Finance, full training and support will be provided to help you develop your skills and knowledge.

Working alongside an experienced and supportive Accounts team, you will gain hands-on exposure to a wide range of accounting functions and processes, with clear opportunities for progression as your confidence and expertise grow. Over time, you will develop valuable experience in areas such as Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Credit Control, Invoice Processing, Reconciliations, and wider Financial Administration.

  • Has previous administration or office-based experience
  • Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Enjoys working with data and systems
  • Has good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Possesses strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner
  • Is eager to learn and develop new skills
  • Has an interest in pursuing a career within Accounts, Finance or Accountancy
  • Works well both independently and as part of a team

Previous experience within an Accounts or Finance environment would be beneficial but is not essential, as training will be provided.
