Star Schema Looker Analytics

Job description

Deliver client-facing reporting and visualisation solutions using Power BI.
Build and maintain semantic and dimensional data models.
Use SQL for data extraction, transformation and analysis.
Translate client requirements into clear, actionable dashboards and insights.
Identify trends, risks, opportunities and data quality issues.
Support data governance, metric definitions, data ownership and business glossary activities.
Work closely with Data Engineers, Data Architects and Product Owners.
Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Support client adoption through training and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

3+ years’ experience in a consulting environment, ideally within data, analytics or technology consulting.
Strong Power BI and SQL skills.
Experience with data modelling, Star Schema and Kimball principles.
Understanding of data warehousing, lakehouse and Medallion architectures.
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
Experience delivering high-quality client outputs independently.

Desirable: Microsoft Fabric, Tableau, Looker and experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
