Providing timely and accurate information and effectively monitoring the admissions process is critical to the successful recruitment of qualified students. Functionally, the office staff works closely with the faculty and support units on campus and with high school counselors, parents, and community college counselors off-campus. Primary Purpose of Position The Admissions Systems Analyst serves as a key operational and technical liaison within the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, supporting the analysis, improvement, and implementation of admissions-related business processes and systems. This position works closely with Admissions Operations staff, Enrollment Management leadership, and Information Technology partners to identify operational needs, evaluate system functionality, and recommend solutions that improve efficiency, service delivery, and workflow effectiveness. The Admissions Systems Analyst functions as a bridge between business users and technical teams by documenting business requirements, coordinating testing activities, supporting operational projects, and assisting with system enhancements. This role does not perform software development or manage technical data integrations, but instead partners with central IT and vendors to support operational alignment and implementation of approved solutions. Summary of Position Responsibilities

• Analyze operational challenges and recommend practical solutions consistent with departmental priorities and resources.
• Analyze admissions workflows to identify process gaps and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and campus Information Technology teams regarding operational systems needs and enhancements.
• Coordinate testing and system validation for upgrades or feature rollouts.
• Facilitate collaboration among departments, project teams, and campus partners.
• Develop user guides, SOPs, and training materials; provide direct workflow and system support to internal admissions staff.
• Create and maintain dashboards/queries, track workflow trends, and support data integrity.
• Participate effectively as a member of a project team and coordinate assigned project tasks., * Occasional evening or weekend work during peak admissions cycles or major operational initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Information Systems, Higher Education, Public Administration, or a related field. Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Experience working in higher education admissions, enrollment management, or student services operations.
• Two years of professional experience related to business systems analysis, operations management, project coordination, or process improvement; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working with student information systems or CRM platforms such as Slate, Banner, PeopleSoft, or Salesforce, with experience analyzing business processes and documenting operational requirements.
• Experience serving as a liaison between operational units and technical teams, managing priorities while collaborating across departments.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies, systems testing, and workflow documentation.
• Knowledge of FERPA and higher education operational compliance standards.
