Senior Mobile Developer - Native Android with React Native

The job profile requires the candidate to aim for building, managing & being responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of Android native applications., This is a senior individual contributor role combining strong React Native expertise with hands-on Android Native development. The primary focus is to develop, maintain and deliver reliable, high-performance mobile applications while resolving technical issues across the React Native * Android Native - device stack., * React Native Development: Design, develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native, TypeScript and JavaScript.

• React Development: Apply functional components, Hooks, state management, Context API and component lifecycle concepts effectively.

• State Management: Implement and maintain state-management solutions such as Redux, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, MobX or equivalent.

• API Integration: Integrate REST APIs, handle asynchronous operations, and implement appropriate error and failure scenarios.

• Navigation & Device Features: Work with React Native navigation, deep linking, permissions, storage, notifications and device APIs.

• Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve React Native performance bottlenecks and optimize application responsiveness and resource usage.

• Native Integration: Understand the React Native Bridge/JSI and communication between JavaScript and native Android code.

• Native Android Development: Develop, integrate and troubleshoot Android functionality using Kotlin and/or Java.

• Native Modules & SDKs: Build or integrate Native Android modules and third-party SDKs where required.

• Cross-Layer Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues across React Native * Android Native * device, including memory, networking, lifecycle, performance and device-specific problems.

• Code Quality: Participate in code reviews, follow coding standards and contribute to maintainable, reusable and scalable mobile code.

• Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience Level : Minimum of 10+ years of proven professional experience dedicated to Native Android App development, This position requires extensive technical knowledge and experience in Native Android development, as well as strong communication skills., * Minimum 10 years of professional experience in mobile application development, with strong hands-on experience in React Native and Android Native development.

• Strong hands-on experience with React Native and TypeScript/JavaScript.

• Strong understanding of React concepts including functional components, Hooks, state management, Context API and component lifecycle.

• Experience with Redux, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, MobX or equivalent state-management solutions.

• Strong experience integrating REST APIs and handling asynchronous operations and error scenarios.

• Experience with React Native navigation, deep linking, permissions, storage, notifications and device APIs.

• Domain Experience: Prior experience in Broadcasting, Television, or Radio Channels is required.

• Understanding of the React Native Bridge/JSI and communication between JavaScript and native code.

• Experience working with Native Android modules and third-party SDK integrations.

• Strong understanding of Android application development using Kotlin and/or Java.

• Good knowledge of Android SDK, Activities and Fragments, Android lifecycle, Services, Broadcast Receivers, Intents and Permissions.

• Good understanding of Android background processing, networking and local storage.

• Ability to debug performance, memory, networking, lifecycle and device-specific issues.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve complex technical issues.
