Network Engineer, Mid

As a Network Engineer on our team, you have the chance to develop Mission Command Information and Simulation systems local and wide area networking and architecture in support of the client. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize the client. You’ll develop your skills in system integration, as well as local and wide area networking support and technology while gaining experience executing network planning to manage growth and development. You will grow your skills by monitoring network performance and exploring performance improvement opportunities to create future needs and capabilities of our customer. Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications, makes you an integral part of delivering a customer focused engineering solution., * 2+ years of experience with implementing and managing network policies, procedures and standards and enforcing security procedures

• Experience monitoring, analyzing, troubleshooting, and evaluating hardware, software, and network problems
• Knowledge of new technologies related to computer networking and new hardware or software products for system enhancements
• Ability to meet with clients to plan, analyze, design, and test computer applications to ensure that computer software and applications adhere to the organizational plan
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED
• IAT Level II Security+ CE certification

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with researching and recommending network and server hardware and software for large complex networks
• Experience with SharePoint services, and Linux RHEL 5
• Experience installing, designing, configuring, and maintaining system hardware and software
• Knowledge of Military Operations
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
• Ability to develop, maintain, and implement network support and archiving procedures
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Windows 10 OS CE certificate and Windows Server 2016 CE certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
