Junior Developer

RELYzIT Talent is seeking a passionate Junior Developer for a high-impact, short-term freelance mission with our client, a central player in the digital transformation of the Belgian public sector. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (analysts, testers, developers) to design and implement new features and enhancements for key applications supporting public health and social care.
• Develop and maintain both backend (Java, Spring Boot) and frontend (Angular 21) components, ensuring robust, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Participate in the technical design of functionalities, applying best practices in Clean Code and quality standards.
• Write and execute unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito) to ensure code reliability and performance.
• Contribute to the refactoring and continuous improvement of existing codebases, reducing technical debt and enhancing maintainability.
• Support the deployment process using CI/CD tools (Docker, GitLab CI/CD, Maven, Nexus), validating delivery across multiple environments.
• Ensure compliance with defined architectural, methodological, and technological standards.
• Engage in Agile/SCRUM ceremonies, sharing insights, technical risks, and collaborating on solutions.
• Document your work and share knowledge with the team to foster a culture of learning and excellence.
• Work in a hybrid model, with a minimum of 50% onsite presence required.

• Ability to work onsite in Brussels at least 50% of the time (hybrid model)
• Availability for a freelance mission from mid-November 2026 to end of 2027 (2 months initial duration)
