IT Infrastructure & EUC Manager

• Lead and develop a small Infrastructure & End User Computing team.
• Own the Azure infrastructure and workplace technology roadmap.
• Oversee VDI, desktop engineering, endpoint management, and end-user technology services.
• Drive service improvements, operational resilience, and technology projects.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the business.
• Act as the bridge between technical teams and business leadership.
• Manage technology vendors and strategic partners.

Do you have a hands-on, no job too big or small approach to delivery?, A leading London-based hedge fund is seeking an experienced IT leadership professional to lead its core technology services function. This is a highly visible leadership role with responsibility for Azure Infrastructure, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), End User Computing (EUC), Desktop Engineering, and a small team supporting a demanding and fast-paced business. Whilst not a hands-on engineering position, you’ll need strong technical credibility across Microsoft technologies, with the ability to challenge technical decisions, guide strategy, review architecture, and provide effective leadership to technical specialists and external partners., * Proven experience leading Infrastructure, EUC, or IT Operations teams.

• Strong technical understanding of:

• Microsoft Azure
• Microsoft 365
• Intune
• Entra ID / Active Directory
• VDI
• Desktop Engineering & Endpoint Management

Ability to provide technical oversight without being hands-on.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Comfortable engaging with C-level executives and senior business leaders.

Experience within hedge funds, asset management, investment banking, or similar regulated environments would be highly advantageous.
