Automation Test Lead - Oracle FlexCube, Banking, ISO 20022

Xpertise have an urgent requirement for an Automation Test Lead - Oracle FlexCube, Banking, ISO 20022

Candidates must have the following essential skills and experience:

• Proven experience leading test automation on Oracle FlexCube or a comparable core banking platform, including regression suite design
• Strong hands-on experience automating payments testing, with working knowledge of ISO 20022 message standards and validation
• Experience building API-level test automation (eg REST/SOAP services) alongside UI-level regression
• Practical experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD and release pipelines (eg Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or similar)
• Track record of owning an automation approach end-to-end from framework design through to release sign-off
• Strong scripting/programming ability in a relevant language (eg Java, Python, or similar) for framework and API test development
• Comfortable working directly with banking/financial services stakeholders and translating business requirements into test coverage
• Experience in a lead or senior capacity, able to set direction and work with some autonomy
• Prior experience specifically with Oracle FlexCube regression suites at scale
• Familiarity with payments schemes and standards beyond ISO 20022 (eg SWIFT MT, Faster Payments, SEPA)
• Experience with performance or non-functional testing of payments/core banking services
• Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools (eg Jira, Xray, qTest, Zephyr)
• Background in a regulated financial services environment (banking, building society or similar)
• Experience mentoring or leading a small automation team
