Mid-Level Systems Security Engineer [$252k/yr+] S

• Execute Information Systems Security Engineering by implementing robust RMF accreditation processes and conducting operational risk assessments.
• Interpret and apply DISA STIGs and SRGs to guide engineering teams in maintaining strict security compliance.
• Analyze vulnerability scanning results and manage POA&Ms across complex, multi-enclave environments.
• Design secure architectures for distributed and cloud-based systems utilizing Linux, AWS, Kubernetes, and Bash., * Design and evaluate security architectures encompassing multiple enclaves with varying data protection requirements.
• Create, review, and maintain system authorization documentation and accreditation artifacts in accordance with RMF standards.
• Utilize automated scanning tools and vulnerability management systems to assess and mitigate security risks.
• Manage accreditation workflows and POA&Ms utilizing eMASS, Xacta, or equivalent systems of record.
• Assess operational and security risk for integrated open source, GOTS, and COTS components.
• Provide expertise across TCP/IP networking, Linux environments, containerized workloads in Kubernetes, and AWS cloud architectures.

Telework: This position supports a hybrid telework arrangement requiring an average of 1-2 days per week on-site.
