Data/Business Anaylst

Our client is seeking a highly analytical Data Analyst / Business Analyst to support ongoing operations, maintenance, and data quality initiatives within a large government services environment. This individual will be responsible for identifying and resolving data anomalies, analyzing complex datasets, supporting Salesforce Service Cloud users, gathering business requirements, and partnering with stakeholders to improve processes and system performance.

This role is heavily focused on data remediation and operational support rather than project-based development. The ideal candidate will have a strong SQL background, experience working with Salesforce Service Cloud, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Candidates should be comfortable balancing hands-on data analysis with business-facing responsibilities such as requirements gathering, backlog management, and solution documentation., 5+ years of Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or hybrid Data/BA experience

Strong SQL and SQL Server experience

Experience writing complex SQL queries from scratch

Experience investigating and resolving data quality issues, data anomalies, and data fixes

Salesforce Service Cloud experience

Requirements gathering and business analysis experience

Backlog management experience

Experience working directly with business stakeholders

Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical findings to non-technical audiences

Experience supporting operational environments rather than purely project-based work Child Support Services experience

Government or public sector experience

UiPath experience

OpenAI, Copilot, or AI initiative exposure

Salesforce modernization experience

Data governance experience

Agile/Scrum experience

Reporting and dashboard development experience
