Ansible Automation Platform Consultant 12226

Mount Indie is seeking an experienced Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) Consultant to support a Red Hat consulting engagement, approximately 434 hours with potential for extension. This role will focus on implementing, configuring, and supporting automation solutions using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform in a customer environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with AAP and Ansible automation and can work independently in a consulting environment while collaborating with technical teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform
• Develop and maintain Ansible Playbooks, Roles, and automation workflows
• Configure and administer AAP components, including Automation Controller
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, deployment, and operational tasks
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing Ansible automation and AAP environments
• Collaborate with customer and technical teams to understand automation requirements and develop appropriate solutions
• Document automation solutions, configurations, and processes
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer related to Ansible automation

• Active Top Secret clearance
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)
• Strong experience developing and maintaining Ansible Playbooks and Roles
• Experience with automation of infrastructure, systems, or application deployments
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting Ansible automation environments
• Strong Linux administration and scripting experience
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with technical teams and customers
• Red Hat or Ansible certifications are a plus
