Product Manager I, Embedded System and Retail computing PSM

Advantech is seeking a Product Manager to lead strategic initiatives and support project inquiries for our embedded system and retail computing product lines. This role will focus on developing localized go-to-market (GTM) strategies by identifying customer needs and pain points to drive engagement with both sales teams and end customers. The Product Manager will actively support project opportunities to help secure deals, collaborating closely with local partners and customers to foster business and solution alignment. Success in this role requires strong cross-functional collaboration to ensure effective product positioning, demand generation, and overall business growth. Responsibilities:

• Define and execute product promotion strategies, including online and offline marketing plans, internal training sessions, webinars, and collaboration with sales teams, partners, or customers.
• Working with sales team to present recommendations based on product portfolio and service to potential customers and increase project win.
• Establish, manage, and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners to ensure long-term collaboration and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with cross functional team including application engineers, supply chain, procurement, quality control, and manufacturing, to ensure timely project development.
• Manage phase-in and phase-out process, including announcements, documentation updates, and database maintenance.
• Communicate with overseas counterparts (Taiwan/China) regarding product and project-related action items, which may require occasional late-hour meetings.

• 3+ years of experience in product management, project management, or product engineering within the PC industry or related fields.
• Clear understanding of x86 PC platform, technologies, and trends in the tech industry
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including engaging with executive-level stakeholders.
• Strong teamwork abilities, with a proactive mindset and the ability to execute tasks efficiently and independently.
• Positive, determined attitude, with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, processes, plans, and programs., * Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Ability to analyze data, track partnership performance, and report on key metrics and KPIs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Salesforce.com, social media marketing, and SAP is a plus.
