Full-Stack Python/Vue/TypeScript Engineer

SOLTECH is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Engineer to design, develop, and deliver modern web applications using Python, FastAPI, Vue 3, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS. This is a mid-to-senior-level engineering role for someone who is comfortable working across the application stack and taking meaningful ownership of features from design through implementation and deployment. You will build scalable backend services and APIs, develop modern front-end experiences, and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle. What You Will Do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications.
• Build backend services and RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Develop modern, responsive front-end applications using Vue 3 and TypeScript.
• Design and work with relational data models using PostgreSQL.
• Develop and deploy cloud-based applications and services within AWS.
• Own features and technical tasks from requirements and design through implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Integrate front-end applications with backend APIs and third-party services.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code across the application stack.
• Participate in application design and make practical technical decisions within established project architecture and engineering standards.
• Troubleshoot application, API, database, and cloud-related issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and development practices.
• Collaborate with engineers, project teams, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into working software.
• Use AI-assisted development tools appropriately throughout the engineering lifecycle to accelerate development, research, debugging, testing, documentation, and problem solving.
• Review and validate AI-generated output rather than treating generated code or recommendations as inherently correct.

• Demonstrated professional experience building and supporting production web applications in a full-stack engineering capacity.
• Strong hands-on development experience with Python.
• Experience developing backend APIs and services using FastAPI.
• Strong front-end development experience with Vue 3 and TypeScript.
• Experience designing and working with relational databases using PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience developing or deploying applications within AWS.
• Experience designing, consuming, and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of modern full-stack application architecture and software development practices.
• Experience with source control, code reviews, automated testing, and collaborative software development.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot issues across front-end, backend, database, and cloud components.
• Ability to take ownership of assigned development work and make sound technical decisions without requiring extensive day-to-day direction.
• Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly and work effectively within a collaborative development team.
• Experience using modern AI-assisted software development tools as part of the development workflow, with the ability to evaluate, refine, and validate AI-generated output.
