Web Application Specialist - TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly

Inferno Systems is looking for a Web Application Support Specialist to work closely with development teams, targeters and technical analysts to troubleshoot complex application issues, maintain legacy systems, and streamline client software. You should have strong software engineering experience, including REST API development and relational databases. You will be in a flexible working environment with supportive management.

You will need to be agile in responding to shifting operational requirements, timelines and priorities, while also participating in daily scrum meetings in a tight-knit team environment where innovative ideas are encouraged. You should be able to write strong Python and automation scripts to enhance applications, which will be peer-reviewed, while also ensuring reliability and continuous uptime. You will be able to interface directly with customers and users while participating in all phases of the development lifecycle to drive forward the customer’s mission.

• Must have 7+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on Python and automation.
• Have experience in REST API development and maintaining legacy systems.
• Be familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Experience working in both Linux and Windows environments for troubleshooting and support.
• Skills in relational databases, specifically with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL experience.
• Understanding of or experience with ETL/ELT workflows and data pipelines.
• The ability to configure and test with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, and/or Flask.
• Experience with JavaScript front-end technologies such as React, Angular, and jQuery / Ajax.
