Transition Manager w/Secret Clearance

This position supports an upcoming government contract proposal and is contingent upon contract award and government approval. Candidates must meet all stated requirements and may be required to sign a Letter of Commitment (LOC)., We are seeking a Transition Manager to join our Defense team!, * Develop and execute the transition-in plan

• Coordinate with Government, incumbent.
• Track transition risks and milestones.
• Manage knowledge capture.
• Validate GFE/GFI and asset baselines.
• Establish Day 1 staffing posture.
• Oversee transition reporting.
• Prepare transition-out artifacts and processes for future contract closeout.

The vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus., * Eight (8) years relevant experience, including at least five (5) years supporting IT contract transitions or incumbent takeovers.

• Experience leading complex IT transitions.
• Knowledge of service desk/NOSC, ITSM, cyber, asset management, and cloud transition activities.
• Knowledge and understanding of DoD 8140 requirements.
• Ability to manage multi-company transition teams.
• Strong documentation, schedule, and risk-management skills.
• Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations. Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.

Certifications

• 8140 Aligned IT Operations role.
• BA/BS in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or Software Engineering.

• Security X/ CASP+
• DAWIA PM Practitioner
• GSEC
• Security + preferred, * BA/BS in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or Software Engineering.

• Work schedule: Schedule is day shift Monday - Friday. May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
• Amount of Travel: less than 25%, Target salary range: $160,000 - $$205,000. The salary range displayed is an estimate and will be determined based on several factors, including the individual’s combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements.
