IT Project Associate

The JAAW Group LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), is seeking an IT Project Associate to support the War Data Platform (WDP) Core Integration effort in support of the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO). This role will support the planning, coordination, tracking, and execution of technical projects within a mission-focused Department of Defense environment. The IT Project Associate will work with project leadership and technical teams to coordinate activities, track progress, maintain project documentation, and support Agile delivery., * Support the planning, initiation, coordination, and management of IT projects and technical activities.

• Assist with project schedules, milestones, action items, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Coordinate activities across technical and business stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress against deadlines, standards, and objectives.
• Support Agile activities, including sprint planning, backlog management, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate meetings, technical reviews, action items, and follow-up activities.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, schedules, presentations, and status updates.
• Identify and elevate project risks, schedule concerns, dependencies, and potential roadblocks.

• Active Secret security clearance required prior to onboarding.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience or education related to IT project coordination, project management, technical program support, or information technology.
• Strong organizational, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders.
• Ability to work onsite in Arlington, Virginia.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting DoD or federal government programs.
• Experience supporting software, cloud, data, cybersecurity, or other technical projects.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or similar delivery methodologies.
• Experience with project scheduling, status reporting, risk tracking, or requirements coordination.
