Salesforce Developer

Insight Global is seeking a Salesforce Developer to support an AI-first Salesforce transformation initiative focused on delivering modern customer, partner, and service experiences. This individual will be a hands-on developer responsible for building Flows, Lightning Web Components, Apex solutions, and integrations within a fast-paced product environment. The ideal candidate combines strong Salesforce development expertise with practical day-to-day use of AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery speed and quality. This role is best suited for a builder who enjoys owning work from development through deployment, participates actively in code reviews and production support, and is passionate about creating scalable, reusable Salesforce solutions.

Day to Day

• Build and deploy Salesforce Flows, Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components
• Deliver user stories from backlog through production deployment
• Partner with Integration Engineers to develop and support API-based solutions
• Participate in peer reviews, pull requests, and code quality initiatives
• Troubleshoot defects and support production issues as needed
• Participate in on-call rotations for critical incidents
• Use AI tools to accelerate development, testing, documentation, and code generation
• Validate AI-generated code for performance, security, scalability, and maintainability
• Create and maintain automated tests and release documentation
• Contribute reusable development patterns and best practices to the broader engineering team

• 3-6+ years of Salesforce Development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows
• Experience developing and deploying within Salesforce Service Cloud and/or Experience Cloud
• Git-based development and source control experience
• Experience participating in code reviews and pull request processes
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security, governor limits, bulkification, and best practices
• Experience with automated testing and writing unit tests
• AI-first mindset with daily use of tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude, Agentforce, or similar for development acceleration - Experience with MuleSoft integrations or API development
• Salesforce Platform Developer certifications
• Experience supporting enterprise Salesforce transformations
• CI/CD and DevOps experience
• Experience working in Agile product teams
• Manufacturing, distribution, service, or customer experience domain experience
• Experience creating reusable components, prompts, frameworks, or development standards
