Senior DevOps Engineer | Senior Platform Engineer

We’re seeking a Senior Platform Engineer - first and foremost a software developer specializing in the processes and resources needed to develop, build, test, deploy, and release changes to enterprise applications, delivered as frequently as needed with minimal error and maximum uptime. You’ll work on a dynamic virtual delivery platform, including an automated software factory, its logistics and utilities, a digital showroom, and consumer feedback loops - supporting customers across the entire IT organization. What You’ll Do

• Work with a suite of custom accelerators: continuously tested and delivered Infrastructure, Pipeline, and Policy as Code
• Build extensible automation and dependency management code frameworks
• Develop event-driven functions, APIs, backend services, Command Language Interfaces, and Self-Service Developer Portals
• Cover all work with unit, security, governance, and functional testing using appropriate frameworks
• Customize and deploy the delivery platform enabling application developers to rapidly create, demonstrate, and deliver value sprint over sprint across much of the Global Fortune 500, * Infrastructure as Code: Build and manage infrastructure via Terraform; develop and maintain scripts for consistent resource deployment across environments
• Containerization & Orchestration: Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters and Docker; familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Registry (ACR)
• Azure Services: Work with ACR, PostgreSQL Database, and Application Configuration; integrate Azure DevOps (ADO) into development workflows
• CI/CD Automation: Set up and manage automated CI/CD workflows using Azure Pipelines, with security best practices baked in
• Application Onboarding: Design and automate onboarding processes ensuring compliance with organizational standards; collaborate with developers on smooth production transitions
• Database Deployment Automation: Architect automated database deployment solutions ensuring data integrity and consistency
• Monitoring & Reporting: Build automated scripts and tools for real-time application monitoring and reporting
• Self-Service Capabilities: Build self-service solutions empowering teams to manage workflows within governance policies
• Cloud Technology: Lead onboarding of applications/services in cloud environments - GCP, Azure, or AWS
• Release Engineering: Lead release engineering activities, ensuring smooth and efficient code releases

• 1+ years coding in Python, TypeScript, or Golang
• 1+ years scripting in Bash or PowerShell
• 4+ years of networking experience (security, DNS, VPN, Cloud, load balancing)
• 4+ years of systems administration experience with Linux or Windows
• 1+ years of experience with a public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
