Senior AWS Cloud Architect/Engineer

On-site in Reston, VA As a Senior AWS Cloud Architect/Engineer, you will be a key player in architecting, designing, and implementing cloud solutions for our clients. You will work closely with development teams, stakeholders, and other IT professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure., * Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions using AWS services

• Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions with applications
• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and performance requirements
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in cloud computing, specifically with AWS
• Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions
• Strong understanding of AWS services and features
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
• Experience with DevOps methodologies and tools
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
