Data Engineer - Netsuite

Insight Global is looking to hire a Data Engineer for one of our largest home solutions clients. The primary focus is on working with data sources, transforming and validating data, defining data logic, and supporting reporting teams with clean, reliable datasets. Strong Snowflake expertise is critical, while Tableau and Salesforce experience are valuable additions. This team focuses on data transformation and data enablement. They prepare and structure data for a data analyst team, which owns the reporting and dashboarding function. The role is heavily focused on transforming data, defining business logic, and ensuring data quality across multiple systems., Troubleshoot data issues and perform root cause analysis.

Validate and reconcile data across source systems.

Investigate reporting discrepancies and determine underlying causes.

Define relationships between data objects, tables, and business entities.

Collaborate directly with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Work with multiple data sources to prepare and structure data for reporting and analytics consumption.

Advanced Snowflake expertise (most important requirements)

5+ years’ experience in Data Engineering

Strong understanding of:

Relational databases

Data modeling concepts

Table relationships and object structures

Data transformation and business logic

Experience with:

Data validation and reconciliation

Root cause analysis and troubleshooting

Stakeholder communication and requirements gathering

Ability to work independently and translate business needs into data solutions.

Experience with NetSuite or financial reporting system. Tableau dashboarding and visualization experience.

Salesforce reporting experience and familiarity with Salesforce terminology and data structures.

Experience working across different data sources and integrating data for reporting purposes.
