Job description
- Write clean, maintainable code using object-oriented design patterns and SOLID principles.
- Participate in code reviews, both submitting work for review and reviewing others’ code.
- Support and maintain legacy .NET Framework applications under the direction of seniors.
- Contribute to scoped portions of the application design process.
- Assist in triaging production issues alongside senior developers and DevOps.
- Document assigned work and communicate status clearly to a cross-functional development team.
- Build working knowledge of the program’s technology stack and the Agile process.
- Stay current on programming techniques and software technologies.
Requirements
- Active Secret clearance (required).
- 0-2 years of relevant programming/software development experience.
- Obtain Security+ certification within 60 days of hire date (required).
Desired Skills:
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS EC2).
- Experience working on a GIS application.
- Experience with Oracle.
- Experience developing in Java.
- Familiarity with basic server administration tasks.
- Familiarity with Information Assurance (IA) and QA.
