Principal Systems Engineer

You will report directly to one of our Next-Gen Avionics Engineering Managers and you’ll work out of our north Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will be responsible for development, systems integration, and verification of core Displays Apps to be hosted on the Next Generation Avionics Platform., * Embark on a Quest for Innovation: Dive into the world of systems and software requirements development! Validate, integrate, and verify cutting-edge technologies. * Unleash Your Creativity: Join us in crafting dynamic model-based system designs using Simulink. * Bring Graphics to Life: Get hands-on experience with Arinc 661 graphics development - our team is setting the industry standard on this protocol. * Champion of Quality Assurance: Create test cases for software that stem from real-world use cases derived from our system and software requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Systems or Computer Science degree
• 10 plus years of experience in systems engineering
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under minimal supervision

• Advanced Engineering degrees like AE (Aerospace Engineering), SE (Systems Engineering)
• Experience with IMA IO and IO Scheduling Tools (ESCAPE, PCT, HARMONIC)
• Familiarity with the NGA System Architecture
• Experience with Simulink or similar model-based design tool
• Experience in complex system integration projects
• Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
• Knowledge of change management practices
• Knowledge of system certification requirements and documentation
• Passion for innovation and continuous learning
• Attention to detail
