Job description

Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems
Coordinates system development to include design, modeling, security, integration, and formal testing
Contributes to completion of major engineering programs and projects
Develop solutions to a variety of highly complex engineering problems
Oversee highly complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools
Performs continual maintenance and provides highly complex solutions for security, backup, and redundancy problems
Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline
Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience
Required Technical Skills: Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux; experience with NFS, AD/LDAP integration, Web Servers, certificates, LVM, VMware, Linux security hardening, Cloud and/or Hybrid-Cloud deployments, configuring storage
Preferred Skills: Experience with Ansible, kickstart deployments, Big Data solutions, containerization, Terraform, Splunk, AWS/Azure
