IT Systems Analyst

BlueWave is hiring an IT Administrator for a technology and engineering client based in Southaven, Mississippi. As an IT Administrator, you will deploy, organize, and support onsite computing and network infrastructure. This role involves hands-on equipment installation, device preparation, inventory management, documentation, and front-line technical support. Responsibilities

• Deploy networking, server, and desktop hardware.
• Image systems and prepare devices for deployment.
• Decommission systems and retire hardware.
• Rack and stack servers, switches, and other network equipment.
• Monitor IT services and respond to incidents.
• Conduct daily walkdowns of data center and IT spaces.
• Provide front-line technical support to engineering users.
• Support desktop hardware and infrastructure deployments.
• Process incoming IT inventory and audit available spare equipment.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, port mappings, and design drawings.
• Organize cabling and hardware installations.

• At least four years of IT systems administration or data center technician experience.
• Experience administering Windows or Linux systems.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and enterprise infrastructure.
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting hardware.
• Familiarity with Active Directory environments.
• Strong understanding of physical network infrastructure and cabling best practices.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Enterprise network administration experience preferred.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, NTP, or related protocols preferred.
• Experience with SCCM, PowerShell, Bash, Python, infrastructure automation, configuration management, or DevOps tools preferred.
• Data center operations experience preferred.
