Backend Engineer - Prompt Security (Node.js / TypeScript

As a Senior Back-End Engineer, you will be tasked with building backend infrastructure for our AI security product, focused on monitoring AI assets, assessing risks, and delivering actionable insights. You will work in a fast-paced, innovative environment that requires agility, adaptability, and continuous iteration. Your work will also include enforcing security policies and ensuring safe, compliant AI deployment while contributing to the future of cybersecurity., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications and APIs.

• Implement and optimize database schemas, queries, and data storage solutions.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Work with cloud services (e.g. AWS, Azure, or GCP) to deploy and manage backend services.
• Contribute to the development of microservices architecture.
• Stay updated with emerging backend technologies and industry best practices.

• 5 or more years of backend development experience in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience with database management.
• Experience developing and integrating APIs, including designing and building RESTful APIs; familiarity with GraphQL is a plus.
• Experience designing and implementing microservices.
• Experience with scalability and performance optimization, including caching strategies, message queues, and large-scale, distributed architectures.
• Experience implementing authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Communication and collaboration skills.

This U.S. role has a base pay range that will vary based on the location of the candidate. For some locations, a different pay range may apply.
