Scrum Master

Insight Global’s client is looking for a Scrum Master to join their team to focus on two products. As a Scrum Master for Strategic Value Delivery, you will lead cross-functional teams through priority initiatives that deliver measurable business outcomes. You will combine project management discipline with Agile/Scrum practices to ensure teams are aligned on the desired value, focused on the highest-impact work, and accountable for results., * Translate strategic priorities into clear outcomes, success measures, milestones, risks, dependencies, and delivery plans.

• Partner with business sponsors, Product Owners, and cross-functional leaders to ensure initiatives deliver the intended business value.
• Lead the operating rhythm for strategic projects, including planning, prioritization, progress tracking, issue resolution, and decision-making forums.
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum routines where they add value, including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Proactively identify barriers, trade-offs, capacity constraints, and dependencies; drive resolution with the right owners.
• Create transparent visibility into progress, risks, decisions needed, team health, and value realization.
• Help teams simplify work, focus on outcomes, and avoid activity that does not advance the business result.
• Drive continuous improvement and build sustainable business capability so outcomes can be maintained after project delivery.

The two pods/products they will work on:

1.”The Hive” is a newly launched, global project management lifecycle tool.

Problem Statement: the Hive is a repository for financial P&Ls for new businesses. And they want to make sure that that information is accurate. So it’s how to build a process to make sure that that information that goes into the Hive is accurate. This person will run the Scrum for that.

1. Consumer Insights Pod:

• Overarching Objective: transform the several different data sets that this client has under consumer Insights into actual insights and not just random data sets spread all over the data lake.

• Targets of Impact:

• Innovation team: Identify and address areas where consumer expectations are not being met in product concepts.

• Communication teams: Monitor and manage brand perception to improve what consumers are saying about the brands.

• Return on Ad Spend (ROAS): Optimize marketing budgets to maximize campaign reach and brand visibility.

5-8 year of Scrum Master experience- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices with the judgment to tailor routines to the business context, open minded

-CPG experience -* Proven experience leading cross-functional business initiatives in a matrixed CPG environment.

-Jira experience

-Finance or Data background- If a candidate lacks CPG experience, they must have a strong background in data, data analysis, finance, or creating a new product.

-Outcome-driven mindset with the ability to connect work to measurable business value, including growth, productivity, speed to market, consumer impact, or capability building.

-Strong facilitation and communication skills, including the ability to clarify priorities, surface trade-offs, and drive decisions. Emotional maturity.

-Ability to influence without authority and partner effectively with business sponsors, Product Owners, functional leaders, and execution teams.

-Comfortable working through ambiguity, competing priorities, change, and organizational complexity * Experience with tools such as Monday.com, Miro, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Planner, PowerPoint, Excel, or commercialization / PLM tools is preferred.

• Scrum Master certification, PMP, SAFe certification, or similar credentials are a plus.
