Foundation Database Administrator

• Conducts global changes and data imports, minimizing duplications and correcting errors. Supports, tracks and reconciles data and revenue for Foundation events
• Receives, processes and acknowledges all gifts to the Foundation, including cash, pledges, payroll deductions, gifts in kind, planned gifts and other gift types.
• Provides statistical data and monitors fundraising activities to assess and benchmark results
• Keeps system updates current for Raiser’s Edge, Classy/GoFundeMe Pro and other assigned platforms.
• Works with Operations Director, Accounting, Payroll and HR to reconcile payroll deductions from the Associate/Team Member Giving Campaign.
• Develops policies and procedures for donor-related gift management. Creates and manages codes for campaigns, appeals and pledges.
• Writes, creates and manages queries and custom exports for internal and external data requests, supporting list pulls for prospecting, appeal campaigns, donor recognition, event communications and other projects
• Updates donor management system with contact and biographical information. Other duties as assigned.

• High level of interpersonal and customer service skills [Required]
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint [Required]
• Must be able to multi-task, work in a fast-paced office and work with multiple priorities and deadlines with accuracy [Required]·
• Must be available to work weekends [Required]
• Advanced knowledge of Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge and Financial Edge - fundraising software and ability to run queries [Preferred]

Education:

• Associate’s degree in business, information systems, nonprofit management, data analytics or a related field [Preferred]
• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, nonprofit management, data analytics or a related field [Preferred]

Work Experience

• 3+ years relational database /donor management software experience [Required]
• Demonstrated experience working in a nonprofit, healthcare foundation or advancement/development office environment [Required]
• Previous experience conducting research on individuals and corporations [Required]
