Job description

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for hardware, software, and network issues across the organization
  • Manage help desk systems and customer support ticketing platforms to ensure timely resolution of user requests
  • Support computer networking tasks including LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), DNS (Domain Name System), TCP/IP protocols, firewalls, and network security measures
  • Assist with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems to resolve operating system-related problems and optimize system performance
  • Manage Active Directory for user account creation, permissions, GPO (Group Policy Objects), and account maintenance
  • Support hardware equipment including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals by troubleshooting and performing repairs or replacements as needed
  • Maintain IT infrastructure documentation, perform routine analysis of system logs, and recommend improvements for network security and efficiency

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications for documentation and communication purposes
  • Strong technical support skills with experience in help desk systems like Jira or similar platforms
  • Expertise in computer networking concepts such as LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, and network troubleshooting techniques
  • Knowledge of operating systems including Windows (supporting both enterprise environments) macOS and Linux distributions
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues related to computer hardware components and peripherals effectively
  • Experience managing Active Directory environments for user account administration and GPO configuration
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical users while providing customer service-oriented support
  • Familiarity with mobile device management and support for various operating systems on smartphones and tablets
  • Strong analysis skills for diagnosing complex technical problems quickly and accurately
